It is easy to miss this passageway that connects two larger streets, but it is well worth it for the drinks served here.

Café Gerbeaud
Pest V, Vörösmarty tér. 7
This pastry shop is more popular with tourists than with locals, mostly due to the overpriced goods, but it is still in all tourist books and popular.

Central Kávéház

The table you see by the window in the room on the right is permanently reserved for a contemporary Hungarian author.

This is a cozy and crowded restaurant that fills with tourists and ex-pats because the Hungarian selections are delicious and more than plentiful.

Kogart Restaurant and Gallery

Offering a sumptuous contemporary selection of Hungarian dishes, this restaurant is decorated with rotating pieces of artwork. They have an art gallery on the second floor.

All locations are decorated differently, but they maintain an Asian-Buddhist atmosphere, making the diner enjoy their contemporary delectable dishes even more.

Köz means alley and this little strudel shop is directly across from the TourInform office. The strudels are the best in the city.
