Lake Mead
Lake Mead is a great destination for boating, swimming, sunbathing, fishing and wildlife spotting.

Mount Charleston
Those who want to get away from the bustle of Las Vegas can find tranquility (and much lower temperatures) here. Located 36 miles north on I-95 and left onto State Route 156, Mount Charleston is also home to the Toiyabe National Forest, where visitors can camp, hike, horseback ride, snowboard, ski and sled.
