Top 10 Cruise Lines for Specialty Dining

Disney Cruises' Remy restaurant offers fine French-inspired dining along with excellent views

While Disney may be known for its animated children's movies and family-oriented theme parks, its cruises aren't just for youngsters. At Palo, an adult-only restaurant located on all Disney ships, guests can enjoy Northern Italian cuisine for dinner, as well as additional culinary experiences, such as brunch, depending on the ship or cruise. In addition, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy offer Remy — designed for the 18-and-over crowd, this upscale venue eschews cartoon characters in favor of Frette linens, Christofle silverware, multiple courses and a complimentary Champagne cocktail prepared at the table. While the kids are enjoying Beach Blanket Buffet, Enchanted Garden or Goofy's Galley, mom and dad are invited to escape for an evening of fine French cuisine.

Reservations at Palo and Remy can be made online or after boarding the ship. Additional dining charges are $25 per person for dinner and brunch at Palo, and $75 per person for dinner at Remy, not including alcohol.
