Air Tahiti Nui, French Polynesia's international airline and winner of the 2003 Skytrax Survey "Best Airline" (Pacific region) and "Best Cabin Staff", celebrated it's fifth anniversary in December 2003 in Beverly Hills hosted by Consul General of France Jean-Luc Sibiude and airline Chairman & CEO Nelson Levy. A partner in American Airlines frequent flyer program, Air Tahiti Nui's unique and exceptional service has enabled the airline to become a flourishing success story in a struggling industry.

The airline now flies 12 times per week between Papeete and Los Angeles (5 flights continue non-stop to Paris). Air Tahiti Nui also offers 3 weekly flights to Japan and 3 flights a week from Papeete to Auckland, with connecting flights to Sydney with code-share partner Qantas Airways.

Air Tahiti Nui's popularity with customers has been bolstered by the airlines partnership with Airbus Industries and the new Airbus A 340-300, recently selected as the "Most comfortable long-haul aircraft" by Skytrax.
