Titan Luggage - Review
Pack Lightly!

In these post-9/11 days of high-security, high-stress, low-frills travel, luggage becomes more and more important. Airport curbside check-in is scarce, so we’re spending more time taking our bags through long lines, then steering it through crowds to the TSA personnel, and even maneuvering it into bathrooms when traveling alone. But while we want it lighter and more manageable while it’s in our hands, we still need it tough once it hits the baggage handlers and their less-than-gentle equipment.
TITAN Luggage makes their bags out of 100% polycarbonate, a complex plastic, making them lightweight but sturdy. In fact, their largest bag, a 31-inch Trolley, weighs less than 13 pounds empty but can take a beating. One major downside of polycarbonate luggage is its propensity to show scratches, but their 360° Four Diamond Edition employs a diamond-pattern exterior that they claim is virtually scratch-proof.
The hard-shell line consists of a beauty case, a two-wheeled business case, two sizes of four-wheeled carry-on, and three four-wheeled trolleys, and is available in a variety of colors. The beauty case can be easily attached to the carry-on bags and trolleys, which are equipped with TSA-approved locks, an extra shirt compartment, waterproof toiletry bag, and shoe bag. The larger carry-on and the three trolleys also offer an extra suit bag, and the business case has a free-floating removable laptop case.
Although the luggage is not inexpensive, the company stands behind each product with a lifelong warranty. Regardless of what happens to your bag, TITAN will repair or replace it free of charge. But let’s just hope the airline doesn’t lose it!
List prices start at $400.
