CELEBRATING CULTURE
Hawaii Arts Season

With swaying palm trees, miles of sand and oodles of luxury resorts, Hawaii has always been a great place to unwind. But in the last few years, it's become much more. The culinary scene has been steadily developing, and now, during the second-annual Hawaii Arts Season, the islands of Hawaii offer as much culture as a mainland metropolis.

Multicultural events will run from February through May, 2005 and will include music, dance, fine art and theater. From acrobatics to martial arts, the season will showcase contemporary and traditional art forms from around the world. At the same time, local cultural will be embraced with hula performances and folk concerts.

Where: Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui and the Big Island

When: Through May 15
