The Honolulu Festival, Hawaii's premier cultural extravaganza, seeks to promote understanding and ethnic harmony between the diverse cultures of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. The three-day weekend festival offers educational programs, dance performances and art demonstrations from cultures throughout the world, including Japan, China, Korea, Philippines and Australia. This year's theme is "Pacific Harmony," with a sub theme of "Discovery through Traditions." Free activities take place throughout all of downtown Honolulu, with a grand finale parade in Wakiki.
