The exterior of Hotel 41 at Times Square in New York City |
This sweet little property, with its Gehry-esque exterior, offers one of the best values in one of the best locations in the city. Entirely redone, it is sleek and functional in style. Plenty of freebies add to the value, from newspapers, continental breakfast and high-speed Internet access to espresso served in the lobby and DVDs to watch in your room.
With their minimalist modern décor, rooms are a bit cool but in good taste. They contain, in a nutshell — and by that we're referring to their dimensions — contemporary creature comforts such as two-line phones, CD/DVD players, laptop safes, double paned windows and Frette robes. Superior rooms also come with refrigerators. There are also two penthouses done up in attractive urban style. Dark woods, white fabrics and black and white photos and fabulous terraces with lots of plants will make you feel as if you’re staying in a stylish pied-à-terre.

For
convenience, it’s hard to beat Hotel
41, especially if you’re planning to hit the
theaters in nearby Times Square. And it’s surprisingly
quiet, given the action of 42nd Street. Adding to the
hotel’s intimate appeal is a small bar, pet-friendly
policy and staff that offers a warm welcome and reliable
service.![]()
