Las Vegas Sands Corporation and Playboy Enterprises recently announced they will join forces on a new gaming venture in Macau (also known as Macao), one of the world’s biggest gambling hubs. Playboy plans to open a 12,000-square-foot club complete with private high-end gambling rooms and Playboy Bunnies on the top floor of the existing Sands Macao by the end of 2010. In addition, the Sands complex under construction on the nearby Cotai Strip will incorporate a 30,000-square-foot Playboy Mansion scheduled to open in 2012. Las Vegas Sands already owns and operates a number of gambling properties around the world, including The Venetian, The Palazzo Las Vegas and The Venetian Macao.
