Tommy Tang cooks a health-conscious menu for Thai Airways

Thai Airways and world-famous Thai chef Tommy Tang have come together to create a series of signature dishes to be served on flights from LAX to Bangkok. The new health-conscious menu will be presented for a limited time to passengers from September 1 through November 30, 2010.

Chef Tommy Tang has been capturing the essence of Thailand for many years, and Thai Airways brought him aboard to create an eclectic menu of healthy options without compromising taste. The chef’s unique way of fusing cultures to please discerning palates is demonstrated in even the simplest dishes.

These types of arrangements are common in the airline industry. Other similar alliances have been created between Charlie Trotter and United Airlines, as well as Todd English and Delta Airlines.
