Cooking classes take to the high seas as Silversea Cruises announces ten 2011 voyages featuring the Relais & Châteaux L'École des Chefs interactive cooking school.

Through an exclusive partnership with Relais & Châteaux, Silversea is offering an innovative program that features a special culinary curriculum and entertaining events hosted by Silversea culinary trainer David Bilsland. Each curriculum is carefully designed to celebrate the cultural flavor of the ship’s itinerary. Highlights include:

• Specialized workshops in a range of topics from basic knife skills and kitchen terminology to sauces and baking
• Cooking demonstrations with wine pairings and interactive Q&A sessions
• Lively cooking competitions between chef Bilsland and the ship's culinary team
• A "Lunch and Learn" event offering small groups a chance to sample specially prepared dishes
• Inspired "Take It Home" recipes
• When the itinerary permits, "Market to the Plate" escorted tours of a local market followed by a cooking class
