The Ventura Harbor Village is kicking off the holiday season with Wine, Dine & Jazz Sundays in November. From noon until 3 p.m., boutique stores will offer gifts while live jazz performers serenade the village. Wine tastings ($3-$10) will be available featuring local and international wines from a variety of vintners, including Herzog Wine Cellars, Magnavino Cellars and Four Brix Winery. Select restaurants will have wine tastings and drink specials, while art galleries will also offer wine tastings, as well as artist studio tours. Other highlights include craft beer specials, $11 white peach sangria pitchers and cupcakes infused with flavored wine. The Julefest Celebration in Solvang includes the Solvang Holiday Wine Walk, featuring 13 wine tasting rooms hosting a wine tasting walk throughout the village from 11 a.m. both days. Stroll among the shops, and lights as you get a Taste of Solvang! Tickets available for $40 per person for the 2-day pass include a souvenir wine glass. Fess Parker's DoubleTree Resort will host the Winter Wine Classic from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. Attendees have the unique opportunity to taste almost 100 types of California wines from the likes of Bernardus, Charles Krug, Heitz Wine Cellars, Chateau St. Jean, and Peju. There will also be cuisine from Santa Barbara restaurants such as The Lark, Cielito and others. General admission is $90 online and $105 gate price, and VIP is $110 online and $130 gate price. VIP tickets give guests an extra hour to meet with winemakers and do additional tastings in the ballroom, but they are limited and only 200 are available. Cafe Firenze presents Wednesday Night Wine Tastings every week from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Patrons can enjoy a different winery each time, including local favorites such as Opolo, Cantara Cellars, Rancho Ventavo and Carina Cellars. Italian wines from the restaurant's private wine list are featured on the last Wednesday of the month.
