Volvo presents the 6th annual Sunset SAVOR the Central Coast at the historic Santa Margarita Ranch. With a getaway package, guests have access to adventure tours, special events and dinners, and the weekend's main event of culinary adventures and fun. The tours go behind the scenes to explore wineries such as Halter Ranch Vineyards, sustainable farms and the gardens of Paso Robles Inn. On Saturday and Sunday guests can really get their fill of fine wine and epicurean delights. The Marketplace showcases more than 100 wineries, restaurants and food purveyors, and promises unlimited samples of gourmet treats and drinks. Guests will also find cooking demonstrations by celebrity and master chefs, vino tastings and seminars, as well as beer gardens, music entertainment and other special activities. The annual Student for Eco-Education and Agriculture’s Ventura County Farm Day returns for its third year. Come visit and tour more than 20 working farms in the county, participate in hands-on activities and educational demonstrations and shop at the artisanal farmer’s market. Local produce and goods from the toured properties will be showcased. Following the end of tour hours, attend the outdoor BBQ at Limoneira Ranch in Santa Paula. Enjoy meats by Young Farmers & Ranchers of Ventura Country and gourmet salads prepared by farm-to-table chef Jason Colins. Libations include craft beers from Poseidon Brewing Company and small-batch wines from Four Brix Winery. For entertainment, there will be a kiss-the-farmer photo booth, tractor rides and live music by Grammy Award-winning artist Todd Hannigan. The self-guided tours run from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at various locations (Ojai, Santa Paula, Fillmore and more) all located in Ventura County.
