Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard

Profile: Fess Parker originally made a name for himself playing frontiersmen Davey Crockett and Daniel Boone in the 1950s and 60s. The hardworking, straight-talking nature that Fess shared with those characters led him to a successful career in real estate and the eventual creation of The Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard in 1989. The winery and vineyard are now run by Fess' son, Eli, who, with the help of winemaker Blair Fox, has turned the focus of the operation towards the production of small batch and single vineyard wines. Under Eli's direction the winery has flourished and Blair Fox was named the Andre Tchelistcheff Wine Maker of the Year in 2006 and 2008.
