Robert Mondavi 2010 Fumé Blanc
Napa Valley, California

A variation on Sauvignon Blanc, Fumé Blanc was first created by the late Robert Mondavi in 1968. The name is meant to recall the Sauvignon Blancs of the Loire Valley's Pouilly-Fumé appellation. The 2010 Fumé Blanc was barrel-aged for five months, giving it a rich, creamy mouthfeel. Crisp and dry in the mouth, its flavors are of tangy lime, guava and lemongrass.
