It is estimated that 70 percent of the vineyards in the Central Otago region of New Zealand's South Island are planted to Pinot Noir. It should come as no surprise then that this region should be producing excellent sparkling wines as well as still ones. Composed of 58 percent Pinot Noir and 42 percent Chardonnay, this Brut made in the traditional method features toasty aromas and crisp apple, lemon and lime flavors.
