Beaulieu Vineyard 2010 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Top 10 Mother's Day Wines 2013
Not least because of its longevity, Beaulieu Vineyard holds an important place in California wine history. Founded by Georges de Latour in 1900, the winery's reputation was reestablished by famed winemaker Andre Tschelistcheff following the repeal of Prohibition. The 2010 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon contains small amounts of Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot for balance and structure. It features black fruit flavors with hints of violet and vanilla, firm tannins and bright acidity.
