Quivira 2009 Grenache Rose, one of our Top 10 Mother's Day Wines

ROSÉ

Quivira Vineyards and Winery
2009 Grenache Rosé, Wine Creek Ranch

Earth-loving hippie moms will appreciate that this wine was produced using biodynamic methods, including a winegrowing calendar guided by the phases of the moon. And it looks pretty too. This bright, crisp rosé from Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma is 90 percent Grenache, with a little Mourvèdre thrown in for added spice. The result is a floral and fruit-infused wine that is dry yet gentle, with notes of wild strawberry.

Rating: 13.5/20
