Stoller Family Estate makes its JV Estate wines from jeunes vignes, or junior vines (the winery's preferred translation). Moderate in alcohol at 13.2 percent, the 2010 JV Estate Pinot Noir is medium-bodied and and brightly flavored. Ripe raspberry, cherry and violet predominate on the nose, while earthier notes of clove and brown sugar lend complexity to the palate. Enjoy it with tuna, salmon or red snapper.
