The Tasca family has been tied to the Sicilian soil for over 200 years, employing eight generations' worth of knowledge and experience to craft elegant wines. The Almerita Brut Contea di Sclafani was first made in 1990 for the friends of Count Giuseppe Tasca and consists of 100 percent estate-grown Chardonnay. Rich aromas of exotic fruits and vibrant acidity make the Almerita Brut a good pairing for spicy Asian cuisine, foie gras or aged hams.
