Dolin Malibu Estate Vineyards 2014
Chardonnay, Malibu-Newton Canyon

Dolin Malibu Estate Vineyards 2014 Chardonnay, Malibu-Newton Canyon has an abundance of refreshing fruit flavors

Type: CHARDONNAY

Origin: Malibu, California

Malibu is famous for many things — the pristine coastline, celebrity run-ins with the law, people who have way more money than everyone else — but wine hasn't traditionally been one of them. That's changing, though, thanks to the considerable efforts of vintners like Elliott Dolin of Dolin Malibu Estate Vineyards, who spearheaded the effort to establish the Malibu Coast AVA, home to some 200-acres of vines. Dolin is producing some of the most exciting wines in California, and this impeccably composed Chardonnay is at the front of the line. Very floral, with a hint of oak and abundance of refreshing fruit flavors, from apples to pears to lemons. A consummate accompaniment to turkey and stuffing.

Rating: 14.5/20

Price: $39
