The armored combat show during the Santa Barbara French Festival

Celebrate Bastille Day in style when Oak Park pays homage to all things French on July 15 - 16. There will be three stages: Moulin Rouge, Eiffel and Accordion, with more than 30 acts including Django Reinhardt tributes, Femme Fatales Drag Revue, Can-Can and French Polynesian dancers, West African Belly dancing, French arias and The Accordion International Music Society of Santa Barbara.

Guests can expect wandering actors dressed in character for the Guild de. St. Marie, a chance to play Pétanque and period armored combat.

Local French Therapy dog and Grand Marshalette of the Canine Cavalcade, Le Jellie Beanz, and her obedient Napoleon will lead the parade starting at the base of the Eiffel Tower where canine visitors will each get a moment in the spotlight.

More than 60 booths will be on hand offering wine, mimosas, crepes, pastries, art and berets, of course.
