Arguably the best French restaurant in Los Angeles, Mélisse seamlessly melds Josiah Citrin's classic Parisian culinary training with his more laid back California roots. He's a regular at the famous Santa Monica farmers market, where he fastidiously forages for the best and freshest in seasonal ingredients. As to the design of the supremely elegant restaurant, the once warm fall colors have given way to a more chic, updated palette of muted purple, grey and white.
