It would be hard to find better inspiration for creating modern masterpieces than the dynamic painting and sculpture of the MoMA, and Alsatian-born chef Gabriel Kreuther rises to the occasion of his surroundings. The museum’s stunning Bauhaus-style dining room frames his classically-inspired cuisine that combines the modern spirit of New York with his French heritage. Kreuther crafts each dish as a tiny work of art, albeit one that is deliciously ephemeral except in memory.
