Before I sit down at my computer to write the full review of La Cachette Bistro, I want to share with you, right away, my dinner there last night in our blog section—view it in the pictures below.

After many years of offering fine dining at La Cachette in Century City, chef Jean-François Meteigner is now doing “bistro” cuisine in Santa Monica.

Both the food and décor, whether enjoyed inside or on the patio, will surely attract diners.

  1. I had dinner at La Cachette Bistro and it was spectacular. My favorite was the foie gras which the chef said he wraps with hot duck fat. It was so good I refused to eat anything else as I wanted to savor the incredible flavor. But, after several minutes, I was tempted by the mixed seafood topped with Gruyèrel. Am I ever going back there… Soon!

  2. This place is ridiculously over priced with tiny portions. There are so many better places to eat in Santa Monica … I will never go back.
