Lotería Grill – Multiple locations, including Hollywood, Studio City and Santa Monica
This local chain is celebrating with $5 margaritas all day long. To add a festive atmosphere, mariachis will serenade guests at select locations.
Toca Madera – Mid-City
Start your Cinco de Mayo on the early side by stopping by this West 3rd Street hot spot that will be open for brunch from 12 p.m.-4 p.m. as well as dinner service. Churro waffles? Yes, please!
SOL Cocina – Playa Vista
On Cinco de Mayo, expect draft beer and Casa Noble shots for $10, along with house margaritas for $8. (Better yet, order that margarita from SOL’s icy Margarita Luge.) Guests will also receive souvenir glasses, party favors, sombreros and more.

This Mexican seafood favorite is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with $6 margaritas, $4 Modelo Especial can beer, $7 guacamole and plenty of other specials from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m.

Celebrate the holiday atop The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles with $3 tacos, beer and cocktail specials, plus desserts such as a horchata ice cream coupe and warm churros. This serves as the kick-off to the restaurant’s popular summertime series, which takes place on the hotel’s rooftop patio — typically reserved for hotel guests and residents.
118 Degrees – Tarzana
Vegans can get in on the Cinco action at this Valley spot. Dig in to fried avocado rolled tacos, tortilla soup and empanadas stuffed with mangos and tahini cheese.

El Chavo – Silver Lake
Along with street corn, tacos and more culinary delights from chef Octavio Olivas of the Ceviche Project, the party here will also have live music and specialty drinks featuring Mezcal El Silencio, Jarritos and Tecate.

Get festive with $5 Corona and Modelo Especial beers, $7 El Tesoro margaritas and $10 Patrón Silver Tequila shots.
The Morrison – Los Feliz
Cinco de Mayo celebrations are already going on RIGHT NOW at this Eastside hangout. Among the food and drink specials are “gringo” chicken fajitas ($12), $9 cocktails and $5 Mexican beers.
Avila’s El Ranchito – 13 locations including Huntington Park and Laguna Beach
Every location of this family -owned chain of SoCal restaurants is celebrating Cinco de Mayo from 11 a.m. to close with food and drink specials on tacos, margaritas, chingolingas, music, raffles and giveaways. For those having an at-home fiesta, you can order one of Avila’s trays to go.
Haché LA – Silver Lake
This burger joint is bringing the heat with a habanero burger, topped with a four-chili mix of red bell pepper, habanero, jalapeño and Anaheim peppers. Double down with the habanero Thin Mint frozen custard for dessert.
