Whitechapel, San Francisco’s atmospheric gin bar with Victorian steampunk appeal, presents its annual Halloween party from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Admission is free. There will be a $500 costume contest ($200 individual/$300 for group), plus a DJ. Raffle tickets will be given to guests between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., with prizes announced at 1 a.m.
