What Cocktails for July 4th?

Let’s toast to Independence Day with these patriotic Cocktails for July 4th. They feature refreshing flavors like strawberry, white rum and blueberry. Follow the recipes below.

1. Blackberry Smash

INGREDIENTS:
– 2 blackberries
– 5 mint sprigs
– 1.5 oz. lemon flavored vodka
– 1/2 oz. lemon juice
– 1/2 oz. simple syrup
– 1/4 oz. Lejay cassis
– mint sprig garnish

METHOD:
• Muddle blackberries and mint in a tin.
• Add vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup and cassis.
• Shake and strain over fresh ice.
• Garnish with the mint sprig and sprinkle powdered sugar over sprig.

2. Blueberry Yum Yum

Blueberry Yum Yum cocktail




INGREDIENTS:
– 1.5 oz. white rum
– 0.25 oz. Zucca amaro
.- 0.75 oz. blueberry tincture
– 0.75 oz. lime
– mint
– blueberries

METHOD:
• Shake w/1 piece of mint
• Fine strain
• Top w/Perrier
• Ice cubes
• Glassware Collins
• Garnish with blueberry skewer + mint bouquet

3. Fire & Smoke



INGREDIENTS:
– 2 oz. mezcal
– 1 oz. pineapple, honey, pink peppercorn syrup
– ½ oz. fresh squeezed lime juice, strained

METHOD:
• Shake all ingredients and strain over a large cube.
• Garnish with the pink peppercorn vine.
To make the special syrup: first make honey syrup by mixing 1 cup of honey with 1 cup of hot water. Stir. Then dice and muddle a whole pineapple with about 50 peppercorns. Crush until juicy. Then add honey syrup and stir. Strain through fine strainer and bottle.

4. Strawberry Sky

Strawberry skies craft cocktail





INGREDIENTS:
– 1 oz. vodka
– 1 oz. Pimms
– 0.5 oz. strawberry tincture
– 0.5 oz. ginger liqueur
– 0.5 oz. lemon
– 0.5 oz. coconut water
– blueberries

METHOD:
• Shake
• Strain
• Ice cubes
• Glassware Collins
• Garnish with strawberry, lemon wedge, loose blueberries
