Two Scottish Whisky Cocktail Recipes by Aberfeldy Whisky

By Sophie Gayot

Distilled at the foothills of the Centrals Highlands of Scotland, in the village of Aberfeldy, Aberfeldy Highland Single Malt Whisky has honey notes created by a longer fermentation (72 hours, instead of the usual 55 to 60 hours), the contact with taller than usual alembic copper pot stills (called reflux), and the aging in oak casks.

Adding a fairy note to the brand’s history, which commenced in 1898, the distillery draws water from a source, the Pitilie Burn, famous for having alluvial gold.

I got to sit at the bar of Mister O’s in Studio City, CA, with one of its experienced bartenders. Follow him with my exclusive videos making the cocktails.
