2012 Volkswagen Eos Executive Review

Cute Hardtop Convertible Coupe

A three-quarter front view of a 2012 Volkswagen Eos Executive

In short: A small and sporty hardtop convertible coupe.

Named after the Greek goddess of dawn, the Volkswagen Eos is an ideal vehicle for soaking in the sun during a summertime cruise with the top down. Featuring a peppy direct-injected 2.0-liter inline 4 that's good for 200 horsepower, this sprightly two-door convertible strikes a smart balance between sports coupe and fuel sipping economy car. However, should the weather turn sour, the Eos' retractable hardtop roof (the only one on the market to feature an integrated sunroof) can be back in its sturdy starting position in a matter of seconds, allowing drivers to enjoy its quick handling and sporty personality, rain or shine.
