Spacious Luxury Crossover

In short: A roomy, sharp-looking crossover.

GMC Acadia Denali Review

This luxurious American-made crossover offers comfortable three-row 60-40 bench seating and plenty of cargo space, making the GMC Acadia Denali perfect for carpool lanes and camping trips alike. A peppy 3.6-liter V6 with direct injection provides ample towing capacity without being too much of a burden at the pump. Advanced safety features like all-row head curtain airbags, OnStar with automatic crash response and a rearview camera should put parents' minds at ease, while available options such as a DVD entertainment system with headphones are sure to keep kids happy.

The Denali trim level adds stylish touches like chrome highlights, mahogany wood accents and a distinctive honeycomb grille to the already attractive Acadia, along with luxe interior amenities such as Bose premium speakers and an Intellilink touchscreen display with XM satellite radio. Our White Diamond Tricoat tester came tricked out with 20" ultra-bright aluminum wheels, high-intensity discharge headlamps and a sumptuous Cocoa Dune interior trim. Those who like to whistle while they work will also appreciate audio controls in the cargo area, which expands to a spacious 116 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.
