2012 Kia Rio 5-Door SX Review

Cool Hatch

In short: A stylish, fully loaded entry-level 5-door hatchback.

Fully restyled for the first time since 2006, the all-new Kia Rio 5-Door continues the Korean brand's commitment to quality cars at an affordable price. Based on the same platform as the Hyundai Accent, this refreshing 5-door hatchback offers a much-appreciated respite from run-of-the-mill budget cars with its distinctive styling, capable performance and comfortable interior. Our SX model tester came loaded with features not normally found in the econobox class, including remote keyless entry, satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity and UVO, Kia's Microsoft-powered infotainment system.
