2013 Kia Soul!

Fun and Functional Hatchback

A side view of a 2013 Kia Soul!

In short: A 5-door hatchback with a design attitude.

Kia Soul Review

This cool and quirky 5-door hatchback makes for a great starter car for twentysomethings in the city. Available in three trim levels — base, "+" and "!" — the Kia Soul offers a surprising amount of versatility and amenities given its budget price. Our Molten Red "!"-level tester came standard with cool features like remote keyless rentry, satellite radio, Bluetooth wireless capability and even speakers that light up to the sound of the beat of the music. Measuring in at a squat 162 inches in length, the Soul packs in plenty of cargo room thanks to its high ceiling and 60/40 split folding rear seats. Our tester came fitted with the premium package, which adds posh leather upholstery, heated front seats, push button start, and swaps out Kia's UVO infotainment center for a navigation system with Sirius traffic.
