2010 Mercedes-Benz E550 Cabriolet Review

High-Class Cabriolet

In short: A powerful, good-looking, and advanced convertible.

T
his stylish and smartly-designed luxury cabriolet provides a posh drop-top experience that can be enjoyed all-year long. With the ingeniously-designed AirCap automatic wind blocker and AirScarf climate control, the E550 Cabriolet feels as quiet and comfortable as its coupe counterpart, while the convertible's extra roomy back row seating means that more than just the kids will be begging for a ride. Still feeling chilly? The E550's heated and active ventilated front seats and nearly one-inch thick cloth top is sure to keep you comfortable even in the worst of weather. Other driver-friendly features that provide for a more pleasing ride include Distronic cruise control and the COMAND system that offers the driver centralized control over the audio, video, hands-free calling and optional navigation functions. However, don't worry about getting too cozy. The intelligent Attention Assist driver drowsiness monitor senses sleepy behavior and gives audible and visual warnings to too-tired travelers.
