We
were very excited when the first generation Durango
came out and even contemplated buying one. So, when
the re-design came out, we were curious. But unfortunately,
this Durango turned out to be somewhat disappointing.
We didn't know whether we liked the new body style or
not, and we didn't know if the bulked up vehicle really
offered more and was necessary. Yes, there is more space
inside, and the third row seating is decent. And it
is great to haul a bunch of stuff and people around
in, but you’ll pay for it dearly at the pump as
the gas mileage we got was simply obnoxious. Is the
extra space worth the extra cost? That's something you'll
have to decide. The only thing that surely cheered us
up was the
deep molten red pearl paint.
