How Swede It Is!
2004 Volvo S80-T6 A SR

In short: A fast, reliable and eco-friendly family sports cruiser

A Volvo you say? Sure, why not. It has been a while since the Swedish manufacturer (now owned by Ford) has been known for more than a plain, reliable family wagon. Sporty sedans and crossover vehicles are now part of the line. Here is a fine example of what new technologies can deliver: A fully loaded sports sedan at a reasonable price. As well, we feel the car will give its owner many years of trouble-free motoring. Since the trend these days is to lease a car and trade it for a new model with the latest gizmos after three years, you might ask what is the point of a multi-year warranty and an engine with a long life? Well, it’s always nice to know you are driving a safe and reliable car. That’s the feeling this Volvo gives you.

This is a large sedan, and you’d expect it to feel heavy and therefore slow. Set yourself straight and enjoy this nimble and fast family car. It glides effortlessly, remains quiet and never ceases to deliver power. It doesn’t guzzle too much gas, either. With six cylinders and 286 HP, this cruiser moves. It is easy to drive in the city, and it is a pleasure on the highway.

A cocoon of high strength steel comprises the passenger safety cage in this unibody construction vehicle. There are so many safety features beyond the standard airbags, like a whiplash protection system, that you really think you are in a cocoon. When it’s time to go, stop, or turn, electronics abound: Dynamic Stability Traction Control (DSTC), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) with ABS and more.

For your comfort and convenience, there are many features designed to help you enjoy the ride. Leather upholstery on driver and front passenger eight-way power seats and dual zone electronic climate control allow for individual tailoring to achieve maximum comfort. Long road trips are easy with cruise and radio control incorporated into the steering wheel. Split folding rear seats with a center armrest and cup holders will keep the kids happy, and the moon roof is always a nice touch.

In case you had not already heard, this car is friendly to the environment, as it actually cleans while travelling! Volvo's registered PremAir technology is a coating on the radiator that facilitates the transformation of ground level ozone into none other than fresh oxygen.
