2008 COLCOA French Film Festival Lineup

The week-long festival will feature 48 films, including 27 features, 20 shorts from France.

Festival highlights include the world premiere of the restored film Secret Beyond the Door. Prime time films will include Female Agents, a new Jean-Paul Salomé film; Those Who Remain, Anne Le Ny’s directorial debut, and the official Los Angeles premiere of the Cannes-acclaimed Claude Lelouch film, Roman de Gare. Cedric Klapisch’ Paris, starring Romain Duris and Juliette Binoche, will have its West Coast premiere and is scheduled for American release later in the year. The French hit comedy Welcome to the Land of Ch’tis will be screened, as well as writer-director Abdellatif Kechiche’s The Secret of the Grain (2008 César Award for Best Film), and many more.

Admission: Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and $7 for seniors and members of American Cinematheque, ASC, ICG, Film Independent, LACMA, SAG, and Women in Film. Sunday is free.
