2010 COLCOA French Film Festival Lineup

The week-long festival will feature more than 50 films, including 32 features and 20 shorts.

Highlights include the North American premiere of Heartbreaker (L’Arnacoeur), a romantic comedy starring Romain Duris and Vanessa Paradis, directed by Pascal Chaumeil. Other films include Gainsbourg: Je t’aime…Moi Non Plus, which will be presented at COLCOA a day after its North American premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival; The Concert, a box office comedy hit in France; and In The Beginning, an official selection at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. The panel series Happy Hour Talks returns this year featuring topics ranging from foreign film distribution to the influence of the French New Wave, and for the first time, the COLCOA audience will be invited to a “Blind Date with a French Film”—a free surprise screening of a North American premiere on Tuesday, April 20.

Admission: Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and $7 for seniors and members of American Cinematheque, ASC, ICG, Film Independent, LACMA, SAG, and Women in Film.
