Rosé on Rose Wine Fest

The 3rd annual Rosé on Rose Wine Fest returns to Venice’s Rose Avenue on National Rosé Day, Saturday, June 14, 2025.

This rosé crawl and street fair brings local restaurants and retailers together to offer attendees exclusive rosé specials, tastings, gourmet food deals, art, live music and a VIP Wine Garden tasting experience. A portion of net ticket sales will benefit the Venice Family Clinic.

The event will take place from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. Tickets start at $20 for a general admission wristband in advance, which gets attendees access to discounted $8 rosé, food and drink specials at participating businesses, music, photo ops, games, activities, vendors, art, and entrance into the official after-party (6 p.m.-8 p.m.).

California Wine Festival

The California Wine Festival in Carlsbad will feature a Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting and a Beachside Wine Festival.

Enjoy wines, gourmet bites and more at this two-day celebration held at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort Golf Club & Spa:
Friday, June 20: Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. highlights limited-production and reserve wines from California wine regions, as well as appetizers from North San Diego County restaurants, a silent auction and live entertainment.
Saturday, June 21: Beachside Wine Festival from 1 p.m.– 4 p.m. (VIP entry at 12 p.m.) offers tastings from hundreds of California wineries and regional craft breweries, plus bites from local culinary purveyors. Guests will also be treated to views of rolling hills and the Pacific Ocean, and live music.

City of Angels Food & Wine

 The inaugural City of Angels Food & Wine will take place at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles.

Presented by event founder Shelby Russell and culinary host & partner Neal Fraser (Redbird), the culinary festival will feature a lineup of 36 chefs from Southern California, Chicago, New York and beyond. There will also be wine, spirits, handcrafted cocktails, craft breweries, non-alcoholic beverages, live entertainment and more.

City of Angels Food & Wine will take place on Friday, July 25, 2025, and Saturday, July 26, 2025. A DELTA VIP Early Entry Pass will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Regular Admission will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

This year’s City of Angels Food & Wine event beneficiary is St. Vincent Meals on Wheels, whose mission is to prepare and deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors and other vulnerable residents across Los Angeles.

Chef Aitor Zabala of restaurant Somni in West Hollywood

Chef Aitor Zabala’s restaurant Somni, originally located at SLS Hotel Beverly Hills, is back but in West Hollywood.

The restaurant is named after the Catalan word for “dream” and the cuisine reflects Zabala’s Catalan heritage and also his current home of Southern California.

The chef’s counter experience ($495 per person) features 20-plus courses.
