Los Angeles restaurants supporting the wildfire victims

By Sophie Gayot

Los Angeles, January 17, 2025

In response to the devastating wildfires that ravaged Los Angeles, some chefs are offering their restaurants in support of those affected, as well as the firefighters. They are either providing free meals to those in immense need or organizing donations.

I cannot imagine what is going through the minds of the women, men and children who have lost everything — their homes, their jobs, their mementos, and loss of life… I regularly text my friends in that situation. They are still not able to pick up the phone and call. I am so deeply sad for them. Even firefighters being interviewed are in shock.

It is most painful to read these messages.
