THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Adam’s Ribs Restaurant Review

: Capitalizing on his success with his Freakin’ Frog eatery, Adam Carmer now also presides over his Adam’s Rib restaurants on both sides of town. A wine, beer and food connoisseur, Carmer explains that his barbecue margarita, the restaurant’s signature drink, is a marriage of his savory barbecue sauce and tequila. Baby-back, beef and spare ribs are the signature dishes, although there’s a lot more to like, such as spinach and artichoke dip with pita chips and chicken fingers with spicy mustard sauce for starters. Pizzas include the margherita and the after-school special is a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich with a cup of soup. We like the veggie garden burger topped with mushrooms and onions. Entrées such as a cast iron-seared Coho salmon filet and a 16-ounce bone-in blackened rib-eye Angus steak come with two sides. Banana splits and apple pie are among sweet finales. Also located at 4145 S. Grand Canyon Ave., 702-221-8227.
