Afaria Restaurant Review:
Slightly away from the Convention métro station, chef Ludivine Merlin, formerly at Drouant, renews the Southwest bistro cuisine. In a redone rustic establishment, she regales Parisians with well-rooted dishes. Try the blood sausage served in mustard with potatoes; tagliatelles with cuttlefish, seasoned with saffron; and Basque cake with a salted butter caramel sorbet. Those with the smallest appetites will be easily pleased with one of the daily tapas. Menu around €40.
