Not to be confused with Blue Agave in Yorba Linda, this restaurant is part of the same restaurant family as 230 Forest and Opah. The cuisine is Southwestern, and many of the dishes are faithfully authentic Mexican: chicken soft tacos, crispy carnitas, camarones mojo de ajo (Gulf shrimp sautéed in garlic sauce) and camarones rancheros (Gulf shrimp with mild chiles, onions and tomatoes in tequila-lime sauce). However, owner and head chef Marc Cohen has long been known for his eclectic Left Coast culinary stylings and he puts them to use here as well. To wit, the specialty of the house: a dozen kinds of adobe hearth-baked pizzas. There is a full bar stocking over 65 different tequilas and serving all kinds of specialty margaritas. We recommend the Dos Hombres made with Sauza Hornitos, 1800 Reposado and the signature sweet-and-sour mix (made fresh in-house every day). Another must-try is the guacamole, made fresh to order tableside.
