THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Aha'aina Luau at Kona Village Restaurant Review:

The Aha'aina Luau at the Kona Village Resort is the longest running and most expansive luau on the Big Island. During the traditional imu ceremony, a whole roasted pig is unearthed from an underground fire pit. The buffet feast also features salad, fruits, lomi lomi salmon, teriyaki chicken and poi. On Wednesdays, the Polynesian revue presents Hula Mana, a celebration of Hawaii's history with chants, drum beats and both ancient and contemporary hula dancing. Friday's show, entitled Savai'i, Origins of Polynesia, features a Samoan fire knife dance, Maori warrior haka and Tahitian tamure. Included in the evening are a complimentary mai tai and flower lei po'o greeting.
