Ailana Shave Ice & Cafe, one of the more popular shave ice spots in Honolulu, has a loyal following, and for good reason. Homemade syrups have intense flavor, and are poured generously over mounds of fine ice. Fruit syrups are prepared using real fruit, making the papaya and mango instant favorites. Ailana is also distinctive in that it blends Japanese flavors with some of the selections, creating taste sensations unlike other shave ice spots in Hawaii. Ice cream parfaits, smoothies, and breakfast and lunch items are available.
