THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Albertino Restaurant Review:
In this happening area of South Philadelphia, where old stores are being converted to restaurants and young people are rehabbing old houses, Albertino is the first BYOB. It's small and noisy, but within the ruined walls that artfully depict scenes from Pompeii, the owner-chef will happily divulge carpaccio of tuna and filet, delicious salads and pastas, and salt-crusted fishes. A good bottle of Vernaccia di San Gimignano would go well here.
