Aloha Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Surfboards adorn the walls and servers are decked out in Hawaiian shirts at this surf-themed steakhouse. But the ocean views are the real draw. At lunchtime, nosh on ceviche, a Cobb salad or teriyaki chicken --- frankly nothing traditionally Hawaiian, more standard American fare. Prime hand-cut steaks are used for the teriyaki top sirloin plate, and all dinners come with salad or clam chowder, plus potato, rice or vegetables. Also available are a cowboy rib-eye (on the bone) and filet mignon pepper steak. Daily fish specials and a teriyaki pork chop round out the menu. As for sweets, the volcano soufflé is a chocolate soufflé cake underneath a huge scoop of McConnell's ice cream and Heath bar bits, or stick with bananas Foster. A decent wine list of predominantly Californian selections and a handful of beers and cocktails are offered.
