THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Trendy is not the word we would use for the style or menu of Werner and Hedy Bertram's Alpine Inn. But if you like a friendly, reasonably-priced dinner house with very good food, this is the place. The menu, with Swiss fondue and German sauerbraten, touches on both Hedy and Werner's heritage. Most entrées are priced in the teens and include soup---one day a delicious potato-leek---and a chilled butter lettuce salad, lightly dressed. Tuck into the cheese fondue, the wienerschnitzel, fresh fish, or the lovely sauerbraten with spätzle and red cabbage. Desserts may disappoint.
