Amarone Ristorante Restaurant Review

: Staff at this Italian restaurant in the Theater District hustles to keep theater-goers filled, happy and ready to depart on time to make the opening curtain. The menu includes starters such as mussels in garlic, oil and white wine and eggplant fritters accompanied by a mesclun salad and goat cheese. Whether you are in the mood for fresh house-made pasta or heartier courses, you can find good choices such as spinach pappardelle; fettuccine with asparagus and ricotta in tomato sauce; filet mignon with pink peppercorns in a wine reduction; and red snapper stew with mussels, shrimp and clams. Expect a long roster of Italian wines. Go for the tiramisu or apple-amaretto pie for dessert.
