American Farmhouse Tavern & Dining Hall serves farm-to-table meals inspired by the cattle ranching traditions of California's Central Coast. Owner Orlando Novoa, a chef, entrepreneur and Manhattan Beach resident who has deep roots in the history of regional Santa Maria barbecue, roasts premium sustainably sourced meats over a red oak fire. Santa Maria tri-tip sandwiches are offered for lunch and dinner, while a full-blown barbecue is held for lunch every Saturday. Produce also comes directly from California Coastal area family farms. For dinner, you’ll find pappardelle with duck breast, sage, cinnamon and butternut squash; wood-grilled filet mignon or rib-eye; and California lamb chops with a basil-mascarpone pesto. The Tavern offers handcrafted cocktails, a Central Coast-inspired wine list and craft beers. For dessert, consider all-American apple or berry pie à la mode.
