THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Anatolia Cafe Restaurant Review:
This small, charming restaurant has survived road construction and major inconvenience and still offers a friendly, unique experience in a busy shopping strip. Your visit begins with fragrant tea served in gold-painted glasses. The restaurant's paprika-tinted interior seems miles away from the ho-hum hustle of the street outside, and it's best to buy into the illusion for the duration. Haydari, a refreshing dip made with yogurt, walnuts, garlic and dill, is a must-have starter; lamb and beef entrées include traditional doner, shish kebab, lamb chops, stuffed cabbage and stuffed eggplant. Chicken and vegetarian entrées also are available. Anatolia's helpful servers will gladly answer questions or make recommendations if needed. To complete your meal, try a bottle of reasonably priced Turkish wine.
